IMPORTANT POINTS YOU SHOULD KNOW CONCERNING THE JOURNEYS YOU WILL MAKE ON BOARD OUR SHIP:
Park your car in Costa Morena before going to Mes Line Embarkation Office to get your boarding card.The procedures must be completed by yourself, 4 hour before departure. After you complete the procedures and you go through passport control with Immigration Police, you should go back to your car and wait for the necessary permission to enter the port where the ferryboat is berthed. This permission is given about one hour before the scheduled boarding time. Because there is traffic congestion due to other vessels leaving the port of BRINDISI we , recommend to our passengers to complete the procedures orderly and quickly. The Customs Offices are open until 22:30. Only the police is present until the passengers get on board the ship.
You start the procedures before boarding the ferryboat by showing your ticket to the Embarkation Office of Mes Line located at the port. Then, you will go to the Port Police in the same building with your passport and vehicle license. Before you board the ferryboat, you should also fill in an exit form.
Your passports will be collected after you board the ferry board, and you will be informed to take them back before arrival. The reason for this is that the customs procedures start on board. The garage will be kept locked at all times during the voyage for security reasons. Therefore please , don't forget to take the goods you might need with you. |
